FOOD DONATIONS

Food Donations to the Bailey Center at our neighbor UMC church in Tujunga and to the ECPAC Friends in Deed House in Pasadena have been one of our missions for a number of years, but when COVID hit, the community need for the Bailey Center multiplied. Throughout the pandemic, we have created a special donation drop off day where anyone can drop off goods for Bailey Center and/or Learning Works and someone in the congregation will ensure that they get to the right place on the right day. Starting on July 3rd, the donation day will be once a month, on the first Saturday of the month from 10am-1pm. During that time, the bin will be located in front of the main church doors. The Bailey Center needs Canned Goods, Tuna, Pasta, Peanut Butter, Cereal, and Soup. No Chocolate or other food that could melt. They also will accept cash and any plastic or paper bags that you have extra of and want to get rid of! Thank you to the CVUMC congregation and friends who have stepping up during this time of increased need and donated what they could.
