Every Sunday after the children's moment during worship, the children are sent off to Sunday School for a Bible lesson using the Deep Blue Kids curriculum, a craft, and sometimes even a science experiment! On the first Sunday of each month, the children will be brought back up to worship to partake in Communion.

Connie Horton will be teaching along with Camille in the Nursery. This year Grace Hambarsumian will be co-teaching and working with the younger group with Connie.

We are looking for Subs so that Connie can take well deserved breaks. Do you have a calling to work with young people? We will provide the lessons and if enough of you volunteer, it won’t be too often. Please see Connie if you are interested!

I want all the kids to know that I miss them very much and hope they all stay well until we can meet again. Until then everyone can do a little Bible reading - not very long, no tests, no papers to write, no grades, only some verses that I think will be interesting and make this Easter season more meaningful (I have checked with Pastor Paul about this).

  •     From March 30th through April 4th read Mark 11: 1-11 which leads us into Palm Sunday.

  •     To get ready for Easter, from April 5th to the 12th read John 19:1-36.

  •     After Easter, read John 20:1-30.

The books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John all tell the story of the life of Jesus and I think they are very informative. If you feel like it, try to read some of them and if you want, when we get back together we can talk about what you found interesting (or not). The Easter craft I already have will also work very well for spring! Hope to see you soon. Love from Miss Connie
