Welcome to our Preschool!
The Crescenta Valley United Methodist Church Child Care Center wants to serve your family - we offer your infants and preschoolers caring, experienced teachers; days full of fun and learning; and two beautiful, enclosed play yards. We offer half-day programs and full-day programs in an effort to meet your family's childcare needs.

Philosophy & Curriculum
We believe that each child is an individual and learns at his/her own pace.We do not compare one child with another, or try to hurry a child’s learning in any area of development. We believe that a child’s physical and emotional needs must be met before any learning can take place, therefore our first priority will be to make each child feel safe, secure, loved and accepted in our classroom.
We believe that children learn best when they are able to initiate their own learning. As the year progresses and each child grows, we will base our curriculum on their interests and abilities. We will not TEACH the children, but will foster their growth, encourage them to participate, facilitate their learning and provide them with experiences that will help them to enjoy learning.
|
 |
We believe that parent participation is an important part of any child’s learning and we encourage parents to become involved with their child’s life at school. This can be done through parent-teacher communication, attendance at school PTO Meetings, participating at special school activities and contributions of your time, talent and support.
Your children will be given opportunities each day to enhance their social, emotional, physical, cognitive and spiritual development, which will help prepare them for the years of learning ahead.
We expect this year to be full of fun and learning, and we are happy to have your child with us. |

Week 2 - Beach Week
Week 3 - Crazy Week
Week 4 - Bubbles and Suds Week
Week 5 - Summer Fun Days
We have swim days every day, so...
Please be sure to have a swim suit, towel, and sunscreen for your child/ren. Please remember - no flip flops.
We will have a Water Bouncer on Tuesday, August 10th and again on August 27th.
Every day of Crazy Week is different. Here is the week...

Thursday - Face Painting
Friday - Backwards Day (wear everything backwards)
In order to keep CCC the very best pre-school in the county, we are going to replace the climbing structure in the play yard along with play yard and facility improvements. Stay tuned!
